Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions about OptimizeTrack.
Does OptimizeTrack change my website automatically?
No. OptimizeTrack generates recommendations and copy, but you decide what to accept and you publish the changes in your own CMS. Nothing is pushed to your live site automatically.
How does the AI generate recommendations?
It analyzes your page content alongside your Search Console and Analytics data, then proposes specific improvements (titles, metadata, headings, content, internal links, and more). You can shape the output with Voice & Tone settings.
Do I have to connect Google?
You can explore the app without it, but the core value — Opportunities, Performance, and Collisions — depends on your Search Console and Analytics data. See Connecting Search Console and Connecting GA4.
Why don't I see any opportunities?
Usually because data hasn't been polled yet, Google isn't connected, or your pages don't meet the ranking thresholds. See No opportunities or data.
How long until I see an outcome score?
About four weeks — outcome scores need a full post-change tracking window to be meaningful. See Understanding Outcome Scores.
What's the difference between SEO and the Citations feature?
SEO is about ranking in traditional search results; Citations (GEO) is about being referenced by AI answer engines. See What Is GEO.
Which features require a Pro plan?
Ask (AI chat), Citations, Reports, and Conversions are Pro features. See Plans & Limits.
How is my data handled?
OptimizeTrack reads your Search Console and Analytics data to power its features and stores your optimization history in your workspace. See our Privacy Policy.
