Submitting a Page for Optimization
How to send a URL and keywords into the optimization pipeline.
Optimizing a page turns your search data and content into specific, AI-generated recommendations you can accept and ship.
Two ways to start
- From Opportunities — Click an opportunity to send it straight into the queue with its context already attached. This is the recommended path. See Acting on an Opportunity.
- From the Optimize page — Enter any URL manually when you already know what you want to work on.
Submitting
- Go to Optimize Content.
- Enter the page URL you want to improve.
- Add the target keywords you want the page to rank for. If you came from an opportunity, these may be pre-filled from your search data.
- Submit. The page is added to the queue.
What happens next
- The item enters the queue as queued.
- When processed, it moves to running while the AI analyzes the page and your data.
- It becomes complete with a set of recommendations ready to review, or failed if something went wrong.
See The Optimization Queue for what each state means and how to retry failures.
Tips for better results
- Be specific with keywords. A focused set produces sharper recommendations than a broad dump.
- Set your Voice & Tone first so the generated copy matches your brand. See Voice & Tone.
- Start with one page so you can clearly measure the outcome before scaling up.
